1. Active Ingredient

   • Contains Permethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid that is insecticidal/acaricidal (kills lice and mites). 

2. Mechanism of Action

   • Permethrin acts on the nerve cells of parasites (lice, mites) by disrupting sodium transport across their nerve cell membranes. This causes depolarization, paralysis, and eventually death of the insects.
